Tecra Systems, Inc: An end-to-end software platform for Print Management and Automation

Giri Gondi, CEO
The key challenge for any modern digital print provider lies in choosing the right software to support their business. In order to streamline the ordering and workflow management, many software companies are striving to bring out flexible softwares, specifically tailored for digital print businesses. This also includes integrating printing solutions to e-commerce platforms, to enable customers to keep track of print related orders in an easy, unified manner. Bringing this innovative trend to the forefront is Tecra Systems, an Austin based customizable print software solutions provider.

"Our Company sells flexible and open platforms that give us the ability to bring out customizable innovations to satisfy customer needs"

Led by Giri Gondi, CEO, Tecra grew from an IT consulting company in the late 90’s to a leading provider of print and marketing technologies. The company’s flagship product, AccuConnect, is a web-based personalized storefront solution for cross media marketing. AccuConnect provides an end-to-end platform for printers with core functionality that includes custom storefronts, shopping cart, product personalization, print composition, job ticketing, mailing and shipping. Using AccuConnect, customers can acquire both business and consumer prospect lists from various data providers by specifying geographic and demographic criteria.

“With AccuConnect, print providers can totally automate the ordering, production and shipping of VDP and POD products. It would not only improve operational efficiency but also reduce cycle times and provide considerable cost savings,” says Gondi.

Encouraged by the success of AccuConnect, Tecra launched CCMConnect, a web-based software platform focused exclusively on the customer communications market. Compliance, security, high-speed document composition and SLA Management are at the crux of CCMConnect. Gondi says, “CCMConnect is the perfect solution to manage customer communications for highly regulated industries such as healthcare, insurance, finance and banking.
The system provides detailed audit log and has extensive reporting capabilities”.

What differentiates Tecra Systems from competitors is their ability to customize the platform as per customer requirements. Tecra’s knowledgeable professional services staff can handle everything from custom storefronts to integration with ERP, CRM and legacy applications. “Instead of trying to reinvent the wheel for workflow management, we have taken the integration approach and seamlessly communicate with leading print workflow softwares such as Free Flow Web services, Prisma and Avanti,” inputs Gondi.

Tecra’s clientele includes various print service providers, marketing agencies, and also firms in health care and automotive sectors. The company has also spread their services recently to finance and insurance companies. Tecra’s technology agnostic nature remains true as it supports multiple print composition engines such as XMPie, GMC, PageFlex and FOP. “We incorporate best of the breed solutions in order to be on the cutting edge of various technology trends. Our company sells flexible and open platforms that give us the ability to bring out customizable innovations to satisfy customer needs,” says Gondi.
